Why should we be Healthy? Redefining Healthy, part II

Knowing “Why” is half the battle.

The next time you want to make changes or crush a goal, take a moment to ask yourself why you want to make that change or achieve that goal in the first place.

When we examine and define specific aspects of “why” we want something, we gain clarity in our purpose and mission.

Consider, for example: What specific good will come out of the changes or goal? What beliefs or expectations do we hold about realizing this achievement? Are we doing this for ourselves or for others, or perhaps both? Will we improve our quality of life, our ability to make a meaningful contribution…?

This level of specificity gives us strength to stay motivated, especially through the tough times. And the tough times always come.

In our previous post, we examined what healthy means to us, and now we want to know why it is important.

Let’s start with our reasons why, for Healthy Anywhere:

In short, we want to flourish and empower others in the same.

We long to be the best possible version of ourselves, constantly growing and improving. We want optimal energy in living, and maximum vitality for as long as possible.

We believe the best purveyors truly benefit our bodies and our communities. We are on a mission to find and promote only the best.

We want to flip reality on its head and make it difficult for travelers to be unhealthy.

We envision a world in which all people have access to clean water and healthy, delicious food.

Now it’s your turn. What specific good could come out of striving to live Healthy Anywhere? Why should anyone want to be healthy?

Let us know your “whys” in the comments below.
